This is a rotation image collected by the Rigaku AFC7 Mercury diffractometer.
The crystal is generally rotated through an angle of 0.3 - 0.5° and exposed for 5 - 60 seconds (depending on the
size and quality of the crystal). Thus, a total of 400 - 800 rotation images are collected (depending on the
Laue symmetry of the crystal). The diffractometer software integrates the images, producing a listing of intensities
which are passed to the structure determination package for structure solution and refinement.
