CHEM 403

The following pages use java applets from the Jmol package for molecular visualization. Jmol is an "open source" package (i.e., free!) that includes a Jmol application (that can be used on a local computer) and a Jmol applet (that can be used over the web). A "java-enabled" browser is required to run these applets. If your browser IS java-enabled you should see a molecule in a window on the webpage that can be controlled by the following mouse actions:
Left Mouse - rotates the molecule in x and y directions
Shift-Right Mouse - horizontal movement of the mouse rotates the molecule in the z direction
Ctrl-Right Mouse - translates (moves) the molecule
